2024 Cenla Elementary Soccer League Champs!

JI Barron Elementary has been crowned this year's champions! Having played 6 games this season, the Bears went undefeated, with a 5-0-1 record. Scoring 20 goals this season and only conceding 4 the Bears were dominant on both ends of the pitch. Led by coaches Bobby R., Donald B., & B. Parpart there was never a night this team wasn't prepared to play. We spoke with Coach Bobby after their final match against a tough Grace Christian squad, he relayed to us how fortunate he was to have such a group of kids willing to work and put in the time to perfect their skills. He said, "I'm blessed to be able to have such a great group of kids & parents. It makes our job easy with a support system like we had." We asked him if he was ready to defend the cup and his response, "With this group, any day or time." Until next season, the Bears can bask in glory!

2024 Spring Season is here!!!

RRSA is excited to get our Spring 2024 Season underway. With record numbers, RRSA has seen a continued growth since our creation in 2022. We have exciting things in store and can’t wait to get things started. Here is a quick checklist to ensure your athlete is ready for their first practice/game.

Young Referee of the Year Nominee

RRSA is thrilled to recognize one of the many superb young referees that our association is fortunate to have for being nominated for the Louisiana Young Referee of the Year Award. Fewer than 24 referees who exhibit an interest in learning and developing as a referee, who show professionalism both on and off the field, and are plugged in and involved within their school or community are honored with this nomination each year.
